Booster Club Executive Board

PRESIDENT   *voting position*

The duties of the president shall be as follows: 

1)   Set meeting agendas for executive board, support board, and general club meetings. 

 2)   Preside over monthly executive board and general club meetings and /or any support board meetings. 

 3) Vote breaks a tie in the Executive Board. 

 4)   Meet with school administrators as needed

 5)   Meet with elected officers and chairs to review objectives.

 6)   Meet with coaches on a regular basis to gain insight  to needs—both  present and future.

VICE PRESIDENT

The duties of the Vice President shall be as follows: 

 1)   Attend all club meetings

 2)   Preside over club meetings in the absence of the president

 3)   Offer insights and recommendations concerning club agendas and activities

 4) Oversee fundraising opportunities

 5) Oversee end-of-year banquet

TREASURER

*voting position*

The duties of the treasurer shall be as follows:

 1)   Maintain accurate records for all financial aspects of the LA Wrestling Booster.

 2) Work with accountant to file proper Tax documents. 

 3)   Maintain and update bank account records

 4)   Pay bills upon receipt of documentation and approval

 5)   Prepare and present to the Executive Board a monthly financial report

SECRETARY

The duties of the secretary shall be as follows:

1)   Maintain all records of reporting

 2)   Take minutes at each meeting and report at the following meeting

 3)   Send   reminders for action items within one week of meeting and reminders  for next meeting one week prior to meeting

4) Chair Booster Club Communications.

Booster Club Support Chairs

1)  Organize and run fundraisers

2) Work with Communications Chair to craft messages to Parents, Alumni, and Sponsors for fundraising opportunities and submit to coaches for distribution approval.

3)  Coordinate Drone Drop.

4) Coordinate Taste of Los Al Ticket sales, auction table, and auction table workers.

5)  Petition corporations and individuals for donations or advertising spots on LosAl.org.

Tournament Snack/Drink Drop: Tournaments can last up to six hours. To accommodate our wrestlers and coaches who may not have the time to visit the tournament food facilities, the Tournament Snack/Drink Drop position will coordinate the day before a tournament a cooler for sports drinks and water and a dry foods snack bin. This is a vital coordination position. 

1)  Coordinate the day before a tournament the team coolers for sports drinks and waters. --The majority of these drinks should be received at the Team Picnic.

2) Coordinate dry bin of fruits and nut-free snacks  

3) Coordinate Drink Coolers for away dual meets and confirm water coolers at home dual meets

Wrestling Banquet: Work in conjunction with the Executive Board (Vice President directly) and Coaches to secure, plan, and execute the wrestling banquet.
